This Beverage Industry Trade Mission will take place December 7
to December 10, 2006 in Mexico City, the largest city in the world
and the leading beverage consumer in the world.
This Trade Mission will place US companies in the middle of the
action of the wholesale distribution and export business in Mexico
and Latin America.
This is not your traditional seminar. It’s a business opportunity
trip; a hands-on learning experience where you can learn and also
close business all in the same trip.
You will discover how to export to Mexico and be introduced to
retailers, wholesalers and distributors as well as brokers,
consultants, lawyers, accountants, merchandisers, promoters and
every person you need to do business in Mexico.
You will tour the city and important accounts to learn about
specific products and companies like FEMSA, Gigante, Comercial
Mexicana, 7-ELEVEN de Mexico, OXXO, Extra, Modelo, Wal-Mart de
Mexico, Soriana, and many more.
Mexico posts the greatest export opportunity for every US
beverage company large and small. It has all the ingredients of a
great customer. It has a great infrastructure including roads and
ports to ship truckloads of products, many beverage distributors
selling to supermarkets and convenience stores and more than 500,000
stores willing and able to buy new products throughout Mexico.
Not only that, but Mexico is one of the largest consumers of
beverages in the world per capita and as a country including soda,
flavored water, energy drinks and beer.
Beverage exports to Mexico are underrepresented with a mere
$147,000,000 per year being exported from the USA to Mexico. This
shows a trade deficit of $2 billion dollars in beverage.
This trip is for companies that would like to export, would like
to increase their existing sales in Mexico or want to invest in
Mexico.
